Gate Recommendations
To help Gate move quickly and efficiently, please bring proof of your registration with you. A screenshot or printed copy of your registration confirmation is strongly recommended. The current Gate guidance on the Bardic Madness site specifically asks attendees to carry their registration confirmation so Gate staff can process arrivals more quickly.
Members should also bring proof of membership. A current blue card, a photo of your membership card, or an electronic proof of membership is recommended for faster processing at Gate. The live site also notes that members can request electronic proof of membership through the SCA membership portal.
If you are arriving with a minor who is not your child or legal ward, please make sure you have the appropriate minor paperwork completed, including any required notarized forms. The Gate page specifically calls this out as necessary for youth arriving with someone other than a parent or guardian.
Attendees under 21 years of age should be prepared to show identification with birthdate available at Gate.
A Final Note
Please come prepared with your documentation ready so that Gate staff can welcome everyone onto site as efficiently as possible. A little preparation before arrival will make the start of the day easier for both attendees and staff alike.
